HI. This is great that you are covering such a distance. If there is increase in pain after a long distance, it indicates an injury which is getting exaggerated with more stress and so better to get evaluated by an Orthopedic Surgeon and investigate accordingly. No more jogging than tolerated
how do you get rid of really tight calves while you run long distance?
There is no way to do that. After you run long the muscle do go into spasm. To avoid that you need trainyyourself that way and also need to keep your electrolytes supplementing continuously while running.
