Cerebralpalsy is wide term used to denote developmental abnormality in that areas of brain which controls the muscle required for movements e.g hands and legs. These are usually by birth and manifests during childhood itself.
Causes are low birth weight, fetal asphyxia in the womb etc...
Treatment consists of good nursing, physiotherapy, etc.
