Hello i have this wierd stomach pain under my rib cage ?
You have not elaborated the side (right or left) of pain. There can be mutiple causes of abdominal pain. Most commnly due to hyper-acidity. You can take capsule omeprazole by mouth at this time. DO not take any pain killer.
stomach pain has hundred of diagnosis.it can be anything.generally appendix pain is present right lower stomach.draw a imaginary line from umbilicus to the ASIS ( bony point on the right side just where from leg starts ) .at its 2/3rd and 1/3rd junction appendix point is present and pain due to appendix i generally maximum at that point.it may sometimes be associated with fever too.
to give the right medicine for your pain it is firstly important to differentiate the reason and the origin of this pain symptome. If it is also related with burning sensation it may be caused by stomach acid. Omeprazol may calm this down. I suggest you to make abdominal ultrasounds examination to see to what it may be related. Other reasons may be aortic aneurism, stomach perforation, gall stones
